The Autism Society Philippines (ASP) is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to the well-being of persons on the autism spectrum disorder. We envision a society where Filipinos on the spectrum become the best of their potentials -- self-reliant, independent, productive, socially-accepted citizens of an Autism-OK Philippines.

A New Decade, Renewed Hope

ASP Chair Emeritus, Dang Koe, leads the ASP Dream Team, ushering in a new decade of Sharing Hopes and Building Dreams. She passes the torch to newly inducted ASP National President, Mary Grace Adviento.

“Ipinapasa ko kay Grace ang aking korona at sash,” (Now, I pass on my baton and sash), as Dang gamely introduced Grace to the participants of the 2010 Angels Walk for Autism the SM Mall of Asia.

Grace went along with Dang’s antics, climbed up to the stage and posed like a model. Grace is the youngest among the group of ASP Trustees and is also an image model for a clothing line. She will pioneer ASP’s Rampa ng mga Angel- ASP’s next fund raising project.

Renewed Hope

Grace addressed the 5,000 crowd at the SM Mall of Asia after the Angels Walk. The induction of ASP National Officers and Board of Trustees by Ms. Annie Garcia, President of SM Supermalls, followed.

ASP Officers for the year 2010-2012

ASP renews its commitment to continue expanding programs and services to reach the far flung areas of the country where services are badly needed.

“As we lead ASP to a new decade of sharing hopes and building dreams, may we be guided with one mind, one heart, and one spirit. And we move forward with giant leaps, transcending boundaries for autism.”

Gracious Thanks

Ms. Grace Adviento
“We thank God for a successful 14th National Autism Week Celebration. And with all of you, Autism Angels, we share this blessing. To all our special guests, our participants, partners agencies in government and non-government organizations, talents, volunteers, exhibitors and most especially our sponsors.”

Maraming maraming salamat po!

“I wish to congratulate the 2010-2012 ASP National Executive Committee and the whole Board of Trustees. President Grace, with the wealth of experience you are bringing to the table, professional and otherwise; plus a Board that’s a powerhouse of talents, commitment and drive, I am confident that ASP is in very good hands.

To the 2007-2009 officers and BOTs hats off to you for a job well done. Dang, your leadership certainly brought ASP to a new height, parent’s support and education to a highlight and awareness and advocacy for PWAs front and center.
